Summary
“I can’t do this.”
Jake pulls away to inspect his face, this is some sick joke. Shock is written all over his face, there is so much anger, so much betrayal, so much sadness coursing through his veins he can’t even bear to look at Bradley anymore.
Jake’s losing his mind, and laughs.
“You could’ve just left me alone.” Jake breathes out, shaking his head, tears now flowing freely from his eyes.
“You could’ve left me alone, but instead you kiss me, and tell me the same damn thing you’ve been telling me from the very beginning.” Jake snapped.
Bradley stares at him with broken eyes, and opens his mouth to say something, but Jake holds up his finger. “You keep shutting me out,” Jake sighs, “This time you don’t get too.”
He grabs his door handle and yanks the door open, not before looking at Bradley one last time. “Just stay away from me.” Jake spits, climbing into his car, and driving away.
