Kellin lets out a defeated sigh and Vic laughs, high and clear. He stares dumbly at the way the laughter crinkles in the corners of Vic’s eyes, the shine of his smile. “I’d let you tangle me up in that thing.”

They’re back home, all settled in now. John gets to sleep in his own, non-moving bed, gets to have the warmth of Adam by his side every night, gets to eat real food for every meal. Doesn’t have to be on stage in front of thousands of people multiple times a week, doesn’t have to deal with trying to fall asleep to the various noises of other people shuffling on the bus, with sharing such a small space with so many people. So why is he still so… on edge?
John feels off and he doesn't know how to fix it. But maybe Gerard can help?

John’s not even really sure if Adam was being serious when he’d said it, his breath fever-hot against John’s skin, the two of them pressed together like they’d disappear beyond the bounds of each other’s touch. “Fuck me,” he’d groaned, his voice shaking with the too-quick gasps for breath filling his chest. John’s brain had immediately conjured an image in full technicolor glory— Adam spread out beneath him, fingers twisting in the sheets— but the image was scattered by the insistent press of Adam’s lips against his, and then forgotten.
John's never fingered anyone before, so he practices for Adam.

The stretch is fine— it feels good, actually— but having Gerard leaning over him like this, pressing his arm behind him, is giving his body some other ideas too. He sees Gerard looking at him out of the corner of his eye and flushes, eyes closing so he doesn’t have to look back. There’s something about Gerard’s expression, how it’s gone from genuine and caring to a little bit sharp instead that stirs heat in John’s gut.
This time when Gerard speaks, his voice has a bit of an edge to it. “I think I know one more stretch that might help.”
Gerard "helps" John with his shoulder. Adam helps.
