“Hey, don’t fucking die out there tonight. Do you hear me?” Donghyuck mumbles against the shell of Jaemin’s ear, arms around Jaemin's neck and tugging her down to her level. Jaemin only hums, hands splayed open on Donghyuck's thighs. "Don't do anything stupid."
Jaemin smirks, kissing Donghyuck on the cheek before pulling her face away, one hand resting on the side of Donghyuck's neck and angling her head a little upwards. "I never do anything stupid. Dangerous? A little bit. But not stupid," she says, all cocky, before she quickly pecks Donghyuck once on the lips. "Thanks for the good luck kiss, babe."

Summary
Even though Jaemin made the colossal mistake of sleeping with Donghyuck, it seemed like he was going to get out of it scot-free. It was hard to even call it a mistake, since he had yet to run into any actual consequences from it, but it was also hard to imagine that the solution to dating and breaking up with one of his best friends, and therefore possibly ruining that friendship forever, was sleeping with one of his other best friends.
C'est la vie.

Or, Jeno broke up with Jaemin, then Jaemin slept with Donghyuck. Absolutely no one can know.
