Across the quad sits Wayne Hall — The Bats — run by Bruce Wayne with the kind of cold precision that makes people nervous. Pressed collars, smudged eyeliner, and a stare you can’t read.
Clark saw him once on the front steps, cigarette glowing in the dark. Said hi without thinking. Bruce didn’t answer — just flicked the ash and vanished inside. It should’ve ended there.
It didn’t.
Now there’s the heat of frat rivalries, the blur of parties and late-night classes, and two lives running parallel but colliding in ways Clark can’t ignore. Curiosity or something heavier — he’s not sure he wants to know.
