Summary
Inside Poe's novel, Ranpo and Chuuya bury a corpse together, except they really don’t have to because it’s just one of the many fictional characters written by the author.
Ranpo asks the executive why he's burying a corpse inside this fictional world, knowing that this man doesn’t even really exist, but he deduces the answer himself since Chuuya isn’t cooperating.
In which Ranpo realises that he has caught feelings for Chuuya.

Oda’s head thunks against the table, and he covers it with his arms.
He lets out a truly pitiful groan.
“You’re sick,” Ranpo deduces. The lights are all off, save for the TV and a nightlight in the hallway, so they didn’t get a very good look at him. But it’s the only logical conclusion to draw. There’s no other reason he would risk coming here.

The message comes at 3am but Idia’s still awake – of course he is. It comes to his old Night Raven College magicam address, not his new and official STYX one. He almost passes it by until he sees it’s from Leona Kingscholar. (His old inbox is almost full, Idia saved all the messages in it – some form Muscle Red, a few from Cater, a handful from Azul and of course the small thread of mail from Leona. Mostly it’s a series of times and dates for chess matches but there’s a few other times that past-Idia has put little emojis and faces next to. (High school was a different time, he was a different person, but it still makes him flush with embarrassment when he scrolls through and sees.)
