Not only can he say he’s never been unaware of his own nakedness, but more importantly, they’ve been face-timing for at least ten minutes now, before Buck’s phone had slipped and Eddie had gotten, well—an eyeful. Eddie can’t wrap his head around it, that Buck’s been talking to him like normal, all while his dick’s been out? “You—you called me.”

He hears a knock on the door just after eight. Eddie does one final check in the mirror, fixing his hair, then takes a deep breath. He opens the door and nearly stumbles when he realized it’s not just Jade on his front porch.
Zane—Buck’s Zane, Jade’s brother—is standing just behind her, making direct eye contact with Eddie, a friendly grin on his face. “Uh, Hi?” Eddie says, not bothering to hide his confusion.

“Eddie, oh my God!” Maddie recovers from the shock quickly, pulling him into a quick hug. “What are you doing here?” She looks past him, as if expecting to see someone else, maybe Buck, or even Hen. But of course it’s just him, that was the whole point.
