Obi-Wan knows what he should do now – lay Cody down gently somewhere where it isn’t so wet, isn’t so cold, and let him rest. Perhaps drape his cloak over him – but he doesn’t have a cloak, it occurs to him. Ah, no matter – he isn’t moving yet, anyway. Cody is secure in his arms for now.
Obi-Wan opens his mouth and tries to breathe, but it’s getting a little more difficult now. Like something in the cell is suffocating him, not letting him take a proper breath at all - it is a rather scary end. But Obi-Wan isn’t afraid.
Maybe Cody was right, he reasons. Cody wouldn’t lie to him. Dying isn’t scary. It’s just – difficult.
