Summary
Father Paul Hill steps off the ferry to find his new assignment, Crockett Island, to be very peculiar. The late Monsignor John Pruitt (the man he was to replace) only held mass after dark and one of the residents, Beverly Keane, is determined to keep it that way. Along with the strange way the islands residents seem to avoid the sun, and new onset nightmares following his first day on the island, Father Paul finds himself in the midst of something sinister he can't quite comprehend.
