Summary
When one of Albedo's experiments goes wrong, Captain Kaeya loses the ability to lie. Which would be fine, had it not been for the fact that the Cavalry Captain's only true safety net was the intricate web of lies he'd weaved for himself over the years.
Inevitably, things start to unravel far faster than Kaeya would have liked, which, added onto other additional side effects, means that he is in for one hell of a week.

She stood further back than the others, Oz hovering fretfully by her shoulder, with her bow held in a loose grip by her side. With her other hand, she pressed firmly to her abdomen, just above her right hip, and her parlour was pale. Paler than natural, paler than he'd ever seen her.
Her gaze flickered up to them, then back down to her hand. She removed it from her side, carefully, hesitantly, and it came away slicked with an unmistakable red. Blood.
It dawned on him in that instant. The bullet may have missed Bennett, but it hadn't missed Fischl.
Diluc, Kaeya, Bennett and Fischl all team up to investigate a domain with suspicious Fatui activity. Not all of them make it out unscathed.

Sister Rosaria always knew that there was more to Kaeya Alberich than met the eye. There was just something about him, his relaxed smile, his laid-back stance - none of it sat right with her. Of course, she'd never pry, because quite frankly she couldn't care less what went on in his mind, so long as they remained casual drinking buddies.
But alcohol had a way of breaking down boundaries that never should have been marred, and one night, Rosaria found herself finding out more about the Captain than she'd bargained for.

Summary

In other words, a fic that details Diluc’s thoughts, emotions, and actions as his murderous rampage spreads like a wildfire through the three years he’s in Snezhnaya - and the lasting effects of his absence on those he’s left behind.
