Her husband James, however, manages to land a great job in the Auror department and after four years has significantly moved up the ranks. He can't relate to how difficult it is for her to get ahead and just says she needs to work harder.Queue Regulus who has just been employed as an unspeakable and is constantly coming down to the archives for texts and information. They spend hours having lengthy discussions about magical theory. It makes Lily feel more alive than she has in years.

The Wixen world is run by powerful witches called Queen's and their courts, surrounded by a traditional pagan society. They control the magical world and all that live in it.
But things are stirring, and coming out of the shadows. The Aos Sí, the dangerous Fae who were once worshiped as gods are not as gone and faded into myth as the Wixen world hopes.
Hermione boards the Hogwarts express ignorant of any of this. She is going to have to learn and learn fast.
For the courts, society, and the Fae will not go easier on her because of her disadvantage of muggle up bringing.
No it will be quiet the opposite.She is going to have to use every bit of her intelligence to help her as she fights to understand this culture, protects and stop other queens from stealing the males that belong to her, figure out why on earth the Fae are so interested in her.
Helped along the way by two boys, one famous the other half feral. Plus a reluctant sixth year Slytherin and a thoroughly bemused Potion Master.
All before finally take her rightful place in this brave new world.

Bookmarker's Notes
I liked it so much.. if only the romantic sub-plots were not shoved down our throats the way they were and so early on.
But they are sub-plots, so they can be mostly ignored so even if you don't like the pairings (i don't like one) it's so worth the shot!
