Eli's death doesn't bring the satisfaction Victor thought it would. Instead, he's become a ghost in the world, refusing to acknowledge his grief. He dreams of Eli every night, wondering about what they could have been if he never became an EO and Eli never betrayed him. However, one year after his death, he's woken from his sleep by a very alive Eli who has sought his help in stopping a new villain.
