The blonde frowns, glancing down at Pochita with the most confused expression Aki has ever seen in a human being; his face basically a question mark. He looks back at Aki, motionless, probably wondering if he's heard this madman right.
Alternatively: Aki finds a struggling young man with an eyepatch, who seems to be friends with the little devil Pochita.
He takes them both in.

Summary
The gate has been closed, Vecna defeated, and everything's looking up for the residents of Hawkins. Life is just starting to go back to normal (whatever that is) when strangers start appearing out of thin air. Quite literally falling from the sky in flashes of blue light.
Because of course the town can't go a year without something supernatural happening.
The Hargreeves have finally got a way out of the 60's, and are more than ready to return to a timeline where there's no impending doomsday breathing down their necks. Instead of landing back at the academy in the present day, they find themselves once again separated, this time in 1986.
Because of course they can't ever have a successful jump through time.

When Five time travelled himself and his siblings out of 2019. He accidentally brought them all into a completely different timeline. Where instead of 1960s Dallas, the rest of Five’s siblings are trapped in 1986 Hawkins, Indiana.
Now Five, Klaus and a very alive Ben. Are stuck in the middle of the goddamn dessert in California 1986. Miles away from any society. Until they see a pizza van driving towards them.
AKA Five Hargreeves hates Michael Wheeler’s guts, Mike Wheeler finally figure out he’s not straight, Klaus Hargreeves tries to be sober, Will Byers is an actual angel, Ben Hargreeves is just happy to be here, and Jonathan and Argyle are stupid.
