Summary
A naïve young Breton leaves her comfortable, uneventful life at her family’s farmstead in High Rock in hopes of attending the College of Winterhold. As one might expect, she’s anything but prepared for the journey ahead of her. She’s inexperienced, oftentimes dense, and her complete lack of social acumen is laughably apparent. Complicating things, an otherworldly force seeks to divert her path, and it is far stronger than she is.
Traveling in the company of pickpockets and pariahs, mercenaries and monarchs, and other intriguing itinerants, this aspiring mage will have to stay ahead of an on-the-rise faction in a foreign land—and will have to reckon with the very real costs of her naïveté—as she makes her way to Winterhold. In the end, she may discover that following her dreams might not be in her best interest.

She is made of fire.
Bright, warm, mercurial.
Wanderlust and compassion fuel her flames as she blazes her own trail through time and legends, a beacon of hope in dark days, though her stubbornness and selflessness could very well result in her burning herself out.
He is made of stone.
Adamantine, stiff, cold.
But, deep down, at his core, there is something precious hidden within that unfeeling, indifferent rock, waiting for someone to expose it to the light of day, to appreciate its existence and to shape it into something even more beautiful.
Together, they create something indescribable. It is not perfect, but there is beauty in imperfection.
But as is the case with most anything, very little ever comes to anyone easily - much less something as complex as love.
