Two years ago Rhaena spent a night at Aemond's bachelor's suite, emptying three bottles of wine with him...and ultimately ended up waking up in his bed the next morning.
Only she wasn't that drunk... she'd actively made those choices that night. She's just certain he never meant to take things as far as they did...so she fled...
Aemond still replays that one drunken night he spent with a certain cousin of his. A night where he in fact wasn't all that drunk to begin with, he just wanted to see how far he could take things...he just wanted her to finally be his. In hindsight, he probably should've been more direct about what he wanted... he usually was. He just couldn't manage to do it when it came her.
But then she fled.
From London to Lisbon to Venice to fucking Prague. He'd given her two years, she was mistaken if she thought he wasn't going to chase after her eventually...
