   there's a very thin and at times wobbly line between my understanding of the characters according to canon and what bear's (yours? i don't know who i'm talking to here) fics portray them as because the characters come to life so vividly and in detail. even if this is technically jossed, it's still a wonderful exploration of mei fan and how she interacts with the world around her. i've always meant to leave a proper comment on this fic because there were so many things i loved about it, and i will try to someday (hopefully soon), but for now. yeah. mei fan.
