Mammon stirred slightly, head rolling to the otherside, facing Belphie, who looked at his older brother, a soft expression on his face for seconds before he schooled his expression, the familiar boredom look coming back.
“He’s not… exactly our Mammon, is he?” Beel’s voice was soft, as if afraid of asking the question.
It was silent for a moment, the five others waiting for the oldest’s response. Lucifer sighed, running a hand through his own hair, “He may not be. Or he may be. Regardless of how similar he is to the Mammon he lost, he is still Mammon.”
“What if— what if the others try and take him back?”
Lucifer and Satan looked at each other, already mentally preparing for what books they had to continue to go through or witches they had to torture to gather the needed information, “We will not let that happen. Regardless of where he’s from, he’s ours now.”

AKA Mammon gets yoinked into another universe, one where he died years ago, and has to somehow get back while his brothers from this universe refuse to let him go.

That… was a sad thing to learn.
