Xavier follows your horrified line of sight and you watch, frozen in place, as his eyes widen when they land on the handcuffs. A mix of emotions flicker across his face: surprise, confusion, curiosity, and...could that be desire?He walks over to the bed and picks up the silver cuffs, turning them over in his hands. He glances over to you with furrowed brows, confusion written on his face.
"You bought handcuffs...for us to use around the apartment?"
Your mouth opens and closes, but no sound comes out. A dozen lies flit through your mind, all of them much better than what you actually end up saying.
"Um, yes?"

It didn’t matter anyway. Jean got a new chick to sleep with nearly every weekend. Sure, men were harder to come by, but Jean had no shortage of people to entertain him. He didn’t need this adorable little blond to take interest in him. Of course, Jean remembered he probably had a boyfriend, anyway. Lucky bastard – he was beautiful.
Just as Jean was trying to remember the closest gay bar that was open on Mondays, Armin placed his to-go coffee cup in front of him. “Here you are.”
“Thanks,” Jean tried to smile. “Have a good day.”
As Jean started to walk away, Armin said “Four.”
Jean just looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
