I think I need to make a collection of faves for fics that are mix hyper-specific real-world fields/situations with a story/media I had little to no background with before reading the fic. Like the Canadian office Naruto one. This was a much shorter but lso phenomenal read!

Summary
“You are the prettiest French woman I’ve ever seen,” a soft lilting voice reached Fleur’s ears.
A hint of annoyance rippled through her, Fleur was not in the mood to be hit on today, by anyone. Lifting her head, she was startled when she found herself drawn to a pair of warm chocolate brown eyes that she hadn’t seen for the better part of three years. Standing before her in a pair of tight blue jeans and a simple gray button-down shirt was Hermione Granger. Her once bushy hair was now tamed into wavy curls, and she carried herself with a sense of confidence that reminded Fleur of her Maman.
Fleur couldn’t help the pleased smile that lit her face upon seeing the younger brunette, but she could see the other women in the cafe turning to see who had just spoken.
“That’s bold of you to say standing in the middle of France with so many beautiful French women around,” Fleur replied, her smile only growing at the sparkle in Hermione’s eyes.

Summary
Hermione survived Bellatrix, but didn't come out unscathed. She's been cursed. Fleur does her best to manage the symptoms and research possible solutions, while also healing Hermione's battered body and soothing her traumatized mind. But time is against them. There are missions to accomplish, to finish, and Hermione can't wait any longer to help Harry. She soon learns the full extent of The Lestrange Curse, and knows she is changed forever.
There's also that little thing about falling in love with Fleur...
