Agatha couldn’t move. It was her, she was sure of it—the dancer from the club, on the night of the last day of school. A stripper was standing in her classroom, addressing her second-graders. A stripper who, until this very moment, had been filed neatly into the category of things Agatha would never think about again. (Except that one time, when she got too drunk on the Fourth of July. And that other time, when she got too drunk on the Seventh of July, which was just a normal Tuesday.) And yet here she was, in practical jeans and a black tee, looking every inch like a competent professional.

“No one else is allowed to have you, Riley,” Agatha growls, crawling through the dirt. “Only I’m allowed to have you.”
Rio ducks a strike from the blunt end of Agatha’s knife, aimed at her temple. She protests, “if you love me, why are you trying to kill me?”
“It’s how I show affection!” Agatha shrieks. Rio pauses for a second, crouched in the dirt; she’s got a point. They do tend to get a lot of their mushy feelings out by throwing each other into trees and making each other bleed.
or: rio accidentally stumbles into wanda's hex and agatha's periphery. a jaunt through various television plots occurs. my contribution for AAA week.
