Summary
Yes, his plan, his whole purpose in fighting his way through the shackles of time was to remind Cloud who his master was. Sephiroth was going to show Cloud where he belonged: on his knees, begging for his forgiveness, to be made whole by the one who cherished him the most -- his God, his everything. At long last, he would subdue and claim his puppet into the mate he was destined to be.
…so why was Cloud wearing a rather revealing Honeybee costume?
~Time travel “fix-it” (according to Sephiroth) and Honey Bee Inn AU where insane post-Advent Sephiroth goes into an alternate timeline and discovers Cloud as the Honey Bee Inn’s crown jewel. It goes about as well as expected.

Summary
How could he ever summon the mental capacities to describe the blessed gift of Cloud’s smile, his cerulean gaze, his aura, his everything? The trooper who looked upon him with tenderness– not condemnation, not cowardice, just pure acceptance and joy at his simple presence.
Sephiroth was a weapon, equipped to attack but not to attract others to him. The fear of scaring away or weirding out the trooper paralyzed him. Worse, he had no way to determine his sudden affliction, or why Cloud aroused such perplexing feelings in him.
Whatever it was, he had to find out.
~Loosely inspired by the Ancient Greek myth of Zeus and Ganymede, in which Zeus experiences ~gay panic~ and 'logically' kidnaps Ganymede to become his cupbearer.
