Summary
She doesn't know whether the warmth in her cheeks is sun damage or alcohol, but it's probably both. It's been one of those summer days where everything is perfect. It wasn't too hot or too cold, the wind wasn't too dry, the sun was shining through the trees and everything felt wonderful. She probably feels wonderful because she's been drinking since lunchtime and now it's well past dinner, but the warmth of the day lingers in her bones even as the sun begins to dip below the horizon.
