Jack Napier, as confident as he is, decided that it won't be difficult to get close to Bruce Wayne, for the sole purpose of getting rich as fuck. Of course, this comes with its complications--a big one being, that he is completely unaware of Wayne's nightlife as the Batman, and what hat could entail.
