Harry did it, he killed the basilisk, got rid of Tom Riddle, and saved Ginny’s life. He had Fawkes take Ginny, Ron, and Lockhart out, he wanted to stay behind, make sure the giant snake was actually dead. Sure, he got the Gryffindor sword through its skull and it collapsed, but. It’s a magical snake, and he doesn’t know much about any magical creatures in general. What if it didn’t die?

He heard a hiss, not a loud one but it was enough to make his heart drop. He stiffened, glancing around as he carefully walked. Did the snake wake up? He had the fangs, he can’t get poisoned- but probably eaten. Taking a sharp breath, holding the sword tightly, he walked around. Then he spotted it, a small snake, dark green scales and it’s underbelly a lighter green. It was a baby basilisk.

Summary
After the war Harry decided to go to Gringotts, wondering if his parents had wills, wanting to hear them. In the process of going he left his wand home, having the goblins check his magic instead, finding out he had compulsions, charms and many other spells and stuff put on by the one and only Dumbledore. Finding his parents wills, the sending of his money to his Aunt and Uncle to care for him. Anger simmered in his blood, as well as guilt, a sadness that dripped down everywhere in his body.
Harry is so angry, tired. Leaving the bank with a promise to go back there later. If only he didn’t break it..

But of course, Harry Potter’s life is anything but peaceful. When the dragon keepers save an injured dragon from poachers, Harry’s newfound peace is turned upside down. As any respectable dragon keeper knows, Hebridean Black dragons are notorious for their dark scales and purple eyes. Imagine their surprise when the injured dragon is discovered to be a pure-white Hebridean Black with gray eyes. Eyes that only seem to watch Harry.
