I am in LOVE with Seijoh < / 3 :(((((((((((((
update: second read....
as far as I'm concerned... this is canon! THe characterization of eVERYONE on seijoh was amazing, in particular i loved chapter 6 with the whole 'sex ed' scene. It's also really interesting to see Kyoutani evolve throughout the story. He's not treated like a 'love interest' but he's also not the MOST important character aside from Yahaba. Yahaba's friendship with Oikawa and Watari are also VERY interesting! Please reread this if ur ever in a rut jenna it's what u deserve :( <3
update 6/2024: my gosh i've read it again... i owe this fic so much, truly. much love to the author, i can't wait to read the sequel!

To the gathered players, Tendou outlines the dilemma, waiting for Ushijima’s stolid nods of approval to confirm his points. “So could we use the gym during the last practice before the new year and do a Christmas celebration for Reon?”
“That sounds really fun!” Soekawa enthuses. Muttering begins among the team, excitement filling the gym as the players chime in with their contributions.
“I have a family friend who lived in France and celebrates Christmas for fun,” Shirabu says, pensive. “She might have a tree we can borrow.”
Kawanishi nods thoughtfully. “I can look up how to make eggnog,” he says, the unfamiliar word a little uncertain in his mouth. “I can bring that.”
“I can make chocolates!” Tendou sighs, already dreaming about the decorations.
“I am Santa,” Ushijima says.
All conversation stops. As one, the team turns to him, jaws dropped.
In which Reon is homesick and Tendou, Semi, and Ushijima come up with a plan to throw him a western Christmas celebration. Featuring a twenty foot tree, Washijou being nice, a sleep-deprived Goshiki, Ushijima as Santa, absolute chaos, and the power of friendship.
