    Chuuya shoots him a glare. “I am going to drown you in that bathtub.”

    Dazai is the embodiment of contamination—filth, dirt, and rot incarnated. An intruder in the sea of Chuuya’s being. A shark lurking in his water.

    “Shut up,” Chuuya snapped. There was something primal in his voice, something thick. “Don't talk. You'll waste your energy.”

    Dazai had the gall to laugh at that, like he didn't have blood smeared all over his torso. Like this was just a regular day. “Slug worries too much,” he commented, too lightly, too flippantly, as if his life didn't mean a thing.

    Chuuya supposed that to Dazai, it didn’t.
