Summary
For almost as long as Amy Rose knew Sonic, she received beautiful flowers at her doorstep. Believing them to be from Sonic, but still wanting to keep the mystery, she left a love letter for when he would deliver the next flower. Their tradition continued into adulthood and served as a foundation for their-- admittedly denied by him-- romance.
Despite loving their secret connection, Amy wants to finally move forward and be more honest about their relationship. She's stopped in her tracks when, the next time she opens her front door, Metal Sonic offers her a flower on his own.
This fic has an overarching story on Amy and Metal's newfound romance forged over old memories, all while navigating their opposing views and obligations. There's a mystery that develops and intertwines with Amy and Metal's growth over the course of the fic. Chronologically takes place after all the current "canon" so there are references to the games/comics. Has both a slice-of-life and action/adventure focus. The perspective shifts between Amy and Metal, properly marked in each chapter.

It's been roughly 10 years since Amy first went to Little Planet in search of her soulmate. Much has happened since that crazy day. Gone were the days where she would endless pine for Sonic's attention just to be left chasing after someone that clearly wasn't interested in her the way she was for him. Besides after a long time of watching and chasing she eventually learned just why he was not the man she was looking for. Now she was confused, long ago she read her fortune and it said she would meet her soulmate if she travelled to Little Planet. If it wasn't Sonic then just who was it? She began thinking she would never find the answer until one day she has an encounter that changes everything she thought she knew. But is it for the better? Or for the worst.

Summary
The time after the Eclipse Cannon was much more solemn for Sonic. A lot of moments he would become disassociated thinking about everything that had happened and grieving Shadow. While Shadow’s whereabouts were unknown, it was assumed the fall to Earth or the explosion had killed him. Sonic couldn't name the emotions, but he hated how short the time he had with the black and red hedgehog was. To keep his mind busy, Sonic helped his mom at work but that only brings up more memories.
When he tracks down signs of a red and black blur, he finds Shadow seemingly in pain. Sonic will do anything to save Shadow, even if it means risking his own life.OR: Kinda OOC (traumatized/emotional Sonic and Soft/shy Shadow) slowfic of Post-Sonic-Movie-3 Sonic mourning the assumed death of Shadow but finds Shadow in need of his help (or at least that's what he's telling himself). When Sonic gets injured Shadow is the only one who can save him. The two try to navigate their feelings while caught between Sonic's Wachowski/Green Hills home life, and Shadow finding purpose and his new chapter in life after everything. Sweet, shy, and angsty Sonadow content.
