Summary
Qimir always moved so elegantly until he shifted into brutal violence in a blink of an eye. He could kill any man or woman in this room, even perhaps Osha’s uncle. It would be an impressive fight, no doubt. Osha isn’t under the delusion that she could take Qimir in a hand to hand fight, but she has an advantage to exploit — their old sordid history. Her uncle, on the other hand, if he fully committed to the act, he could probably kill Qimir. But three times out of five, Osha suspects Qimir would come out on top.
Strange thing to think upon seeing her ex-fiancé after six years, but it lingers in her mind just from the way he moves through the church. Muscles coiled tight with tension, poised and ready to strike. He’s the next leader of the Rwoh crime syndicate for a reason. It comes with expectations and violent realities, and she’s sure he’s shaped up to fit it with brutal efficiency.

Latin. Greedy, gluttonous, voracious, devourer.
Osha goes out with Fillik instead of staying in, and makes the acquaintance of a dangerous man — if he is a man at all.

Summary
It’s another note in her file, joining increasingly-worried observations from the start of her training, her age at enrollment, the death and destruction behind her on Brendok: Youngling Aniseya has difficulties with sharing.
So, as it turns out, does Osha, as her training with Qimir progresses and the ghost of her sister lingers.

Summary
Osha’s feeling much better now, but as soon as he walks away, she feels… a little colder? Not physically, although she’s still quite cold after standing in the rain for however long her breakdown was. Maybe colder is the wrong way to describe it. It’s like an absence. Of what, she can’t say. The feeling is as delicate as a butterfly’s wings or a freshly sprouted plant but it’s lodged deep inside her.
For weeks after she and Qimir return from Brendok, Osha is stuck in denial, going through the motions as she refuses to deal with the aftermath. She shuts down Qimir's attempts to coax her out of her shell until one night her dreams and his tenderness force her to confront her emotions and consider what she wants their relationship to be.
AKA the thrills of the denial stage of grief, Qimir on his knees and begging Osha to let him take care of her, and the worst thing you can say when you're both only seconds away from orgasm.
