“Did daozhang think he could come here, flash his enchanted eyes, and pull one over on the Ghost King?” Hua Cheng coos.
Xie Lian’s teeth begin to chatter. “My enchanted…my…aha—”
“I have never seen a performance quite like it in all my long years. Daozhang must be very experienced in getting his way just by fluttering his long lashes. But is he truly foolish enough to believe this act will work on me? Does he think I will fall for his tricks?”

Summary
As his hands tighten in Hua Cheng's clothes, keeping him close, his brain works to process a fundamental truth: Xie Lian has done without for so long that he could lose everything in the blink of an eye and recover from the loss just as quickly, only – that does not apply to Hua Cheng. And hasn't that always been the complete truth of his life? Sometimes, it only takes one person.
Or, perhaps messing around with the child-bearing pills hadn't been the brightest idea in hindsight.

Summary
Hua Cheng is a successful idol, reaching his ten year anniversary. In an interview, the inevitable question of his partner's brought up, and while everyone expects him to repeat the usual script, this time he doesn't.
“I’m married,” he says, a ripple of audible gasps from beyond the cameras. “There’s already someone at home.”
“This–this…”
“I owe everything to them. And so, I want to say it today. Crimson Rain is off the table everyone. It’s time I embrace my beloved back, with all the same love and gratitude.”
Unfortunately, Hua Cheng forgets one detail: perhaps he should have told this to his beloved first.
(Or: Hua Cheng confesses in the most roundabout way possible, Xie Lian's confused and jealous, and in between all of this is Yin Yu's braincell saving the day.)

Looking up, Xie Lian was instantly transfixed, gazing deeply into an eye that wanted nothing to do with him and everything to do with the ceiling above. The longer he stared, the more enamoured he became with the tinge of red in the tops of Hua Cheng’s cheeks; so much so that he began to blush himself, though he didn’t know why.
“San Lang…?”
Finally, Hua Cheng looked back. His gaze was soft and his expression exceedingly delicate, as if it might break at any moment. “I’ve often thought about what it would be like if you were to take me into your mouth…”
A month into their marriage, Xie Lian comes to the stunning revelation that he's never initiated anything, vowing to himself that he'll stop at nothing to fix that.
