Summary
Easter 1967 finds the Monkees in Swinging London, invited to help research a series of books and to stay and maybe gig with a local rock group they met in LA. Only, neither of these things goes as planned, and nor, really, does anything else, which tests the strength of all four Monkees’ friendships…and Mike and Peter’s relationship…

Viktor shifts round in his chair, and Jayce sees the note held in his hands - Kiramman stencilling. Runes on the back side. Ah.
"Caitlyn sent you this," he says. "I couldn't help but read it, since it… well, appeared right in front of me. They're asking you for help."
Jayce looks him dead in the eye. "You want to go back?"
"We are partners," Viktor tells him. "If you want to help, I will support you."
Jayce takes in a breath. "Alright, then. Guess we're going back to Piltover."

When a new disaster befalls Piltover and Zaun, seemingly triggered by the events surrounding the Hexcore, Caitlyn, Vi, Jayce and Viktor reunite to investigate - but not all their scattered allies are lost, and not all their conflicts have been resolved.

Arcane S2 fix-it continuing from the end of E9! Feat. Blitzcrank, Jinx, unresolved trauma and a closer-to-LoL Machine Herald. Fully canon compliant but makes (hopeful) assumptions from implications about Jinx and JayVik's fates. Jayce/Viktor-centric but with the vast majority of the Arcane cast and a few other LoL characters involved. This is pretty much purely self-indulgent :p

Summary
Gene knows that Babe would share a meal with a fellow soldier in a heartbeat. But that Gene should be the one he's sharing it with? That someone would look at Gene and think to offer him something, think to give him food or warmth or affection when he's done nothing but exist nearby? It's difficult to wrap his head around.
It's when he's trying that the gunshot splits the air.
