Sanjou Munechika's masterpiece was forged in summer, no matter how he wanted steel born amongst cherry blossoms. “When you’re old, sometimes you find yourself unable to do things when you want to.”
In this (un)fortunate case, Mikazuki Munechika was created.
Following Mikazuki's forge to the inevitable end of his first master, plus or minus a world of humans not entirely understanding what tsukumogami, youkai, and other creatures live amongst them. Fabricated historical fact and liberties taken, with a hefty leaning-upon when it comes to the lore of the Heian period.
