The odds of Navia accepting her proposal to move in felt…extremely low, even given their reconcilation and development into…whatever this was. Archons, if Clorinde couldn’t name it in her head, there was no chance Navia would move in.
She wanted her to, though. Even if Navia thought it all going back to the promise to her father, Clorinde wanted to take care of her. She wanted to provide for all of Navia’s needs, even knowing that Navia didn’t strictly need the care.
There was something uniquely settling to not need care, and be given it anyway.

From the looks of it, she hit the nail on the head. Clorinde averted her gaze and her shoulders slumped like she was a puppy being scolded. Navia’s chest tightened, heart squeezed so tight, she couldn’t help but feel flattered.
Clorinde made her paper rings before- blue, pink, yellow - clumsy, poorly made rings she tried to make perfect every time they went out to play in the forests near Poisson, and every time they were sitting lazily in the Spina’s base.
Navia never questioned them. She just allowed Clorinde to place them on her ring finger, happy with whatever Clorinde made for her. She made the effort, and Navia remembered the paper cuts on Clorinde’s fingers every time she did, which she had to bandage afterwards.
Or
Four times Clorinde gives Navia a paper ring, four times Navia gets jealous, and one time Clorinde does not give her a paper ring.

She heard her speak albeit with a hushed tone and over the rhythmic sounds of their hips slapping.
"Fuck, Miko. Can I come inside?"
The pulsating knot badly wanted to be pushed up her walls, getting bigger and bigger until it combust. But Ei, being Ei, looked at her like a sweet pup asking for permission.
Miko looked at her with a certain glint, a look she reserved only for Ei, and she paired it up with a cutting smirk, a far cry to her outright flushed expression.
"No, Ei. You cannot."
She revelled at the fact that she was Ei's destruction. That for once, she was all Ei could see and all Ei could feel.
"Not when I'm not yours."
