Summary
When Superman, better known in civilian clothes as Clark Kent, helps two boys lost in Metropolis, he doesn’t expect it to lead to sharing hot chocolate with their tired, sharp-edged father. It should have been just a coincidence, one he’d think back on fondly, and then let go. A rainy afternoon in Metropolis, a coffee shop shelter, and two boys with sharp tongues. But by the time the storm clears, Clark’s sure of two things:

Sanji wasn't panicking. He wasn't.
He also didn't see a small child with green hair and curly eyebrows on the Baratie's deck. Nope.
Sanji kept blinking and wondering why the small child wasn't disappearing. At first, Sanji thought his brain was still under the alcohol he drank last night because of Patty's stupid dare and was simply hallucinating.
Only, the small child smiled and jumped on him screaming "Papa!"
So maybe it wasn't a hallucination after all.
Shit.

It's hard to keep a straight face at that.
Clark's lips curve into a fond smile as he chuckles and shakes his head, leaning back against his seat, a hand rubbing across the nape of his neck.
"Yeah. Maybe I have. The coffee's great here. And the company is really nice." Clark offers a smile as he meets Bruce's eyes, holding his gaze for a beat too long before returning it to his pie.
He doesn't miss the way Bruce's heart rate stutters at his comment.

Or, Clark Kent can't do one night stands, and Bruce is just his usual human disaster.(This story officially ends at Chapter 5.
