A Hogwarts AU fic featuring an ensemble cast, in which Charles and Erik talk house unity and muggle relations, get caught up in one another, play chess, and Charles isn't entirely sure that the Erik he knows is the same one the other students whisper strange rumours about. Most people think Charles should have given up that first day when the Sorting Hat announced their separation to the islands of different houses, but Charles never wants to let go of his friends too easily and he isn't sure he'll ever want to let go of Erik.
(Set in the Harry Potter universe, in the early 2000s, after the second war with Voldemort.)

Based of this fic request by Catrionam-prideofportree-67 : I want a cherik mpreg fic where Charles finds out he’s pregnant after the beach divorce and is FURIOUS. He can’t find Erik, since he’s using the helmet all the time, but he can find Raven and uses her as a human microphone while he rants and yells at Erik for knocking him up and then leaving him with no feeling in his legs, but he can feel his bloody waist just fine thank you! And he’s not going through CHILDBIRTH alone so get your stupid arse HOME! and then leave Erik and Raven blinking in shock and Emma Frost laughing her ass off.

After three years of marriage, Charles has to admit that his relationship with Erik has significantly cooled off. These days, they're barely ever home at the same time and it seems like every conversation they have turns into an argument. Charles misses the way they used to be, misses the spontaneous dinner parties and the surprise morning sex and the wake up calls in the early mornings to catch the sunrise. But it's going to take two of them to fix this marriage, and some days, it seems as if all Erik wants is to be rid of him.
