Sirius’ frown deepened. After a moment he murmured in a low voice, “I don’t understand you at all, Remus Lupin. Oh, but I would so very like to.”
A flush crawled boiling heat up Remus’ neck as he fumbled for an answer. “Goodness Sirius ... I’m no one special.”
Sirius’ gaze didn’t waver. He said simply, “I think you could be very special to me.”

Sirius Black is crown prince to the throne and is put into an arranged marriage with his cousin whom he is desperate to escape from. Fortunately for him, he's able to strike a deal with a notorious pirate by the name of Captain Lycaon that grants him his freedom and the captain all the gold he could ever want. Though, things go awry quickly when neither man is as the other expects him to be, setting off a chain reaction of drama, angst, and love.
