Summary
Sam wakes from a nightmare, one where Louise dies where he can't reach her, silent and shrinking... too small to save. The panic that follows is suffocating, so visceral he can’t separate dream from reality. Deadman finds him unraveling in the dark, and does the only thing he can: remind Sam that Louise is alive, safe, sleeping just beside the two of them in her crib.
A quiet night in the aftermath of grief, fear, and love... where holding on is an act of survival, and letting someone hold you is harder than it should be.
- overall, sam and deadman adjusting to their domestic life through grief and never really having a family to call their own until now.

Summary
Elminster had just announced Mystra's will, and perhaps, redemption for Gale. But where there is forgiveness, there is a price... in receiving Gale's lethal task, you refuse outwardly despite Her's and Elminster's noble status. An argument is inevitably wrung out, voices are raised, and confessions are spoken. What does Gale truly feel about the burden he must carry? Or, possibly, feel for Tav?

This work is inspired by the British historical drama, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, using the line: "I will stand with you between the heavens and the Earth, I will tell you where you are, do you love me? - I love you." (This is inspired, some words will be altered according to Gale's story, but all other lines are credited to the show.) Enjoy!
