Summary
Thought I'd reveal a little 'ray-of-sunshine' fact about the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice that they do in fact reunite, but in a spiritual way (reminiscent of the end of The Song of Achilles- sorry for the reminder). So to make everyone's day, especially those who have been suffering this Hadestown-hangover since 2018, here's a very very fluffy, abnoxiously written (I'm a Lit student, sue me- don't I'm a student please spare me) fanfic of my token heteros, Orpheus and Eurydice.
P.S. A secret prayer that one day I will find a gender-bent Eurydice of my own, pulled by my non-existent rizz, to write poetry and songs about on my non-existent lyre. Hopes and prayers peeps, hopes and prayers.
