That before all of this he was drowning at the darkest bottom of the ocean, but now he's blinded by the sun. That he hopes so desperately, that he won't ever give up on him, even if he doesn't deserve that. That when he sees him laugh, he thinks that maybe it's all worth it, even for a moment. That he became the center of his existence.

Bepo didn’t know how long he had been swimming, only that his lungs burned and his limbs ached and that he could not stop until his captain was safe.
Law was tucked firmly under his arm, pressed close to his side with all the strength the mink could afford, and Bepo couldn’t tell if he was still breathing anymore.
He couldn’t dwell on that though - wouldn’t dare to entertain the thought that he might be - his captain was strong, strong enough to survive Doflamingo, strong enough to survive Kaido and Big Mom, strong enough to bring emperors to their knees.

“This is stupid!” Perona announces as soon as they’re back at the dock. She doesn’t even wait for the boat to stop before she clamors out. “I hate this! I hate you! My nails are ruined! I have blisters! Your dumb boat is too small and it’s ugly!”
She stomps off before jumping into the air, intending to fly the rest of the way back to the castle. Her shriek echoes through the trees, scattering birds and humandrills alike.
OR: Mihawk is tired of being the only one capable of getting supplies off the island, so he decides to instruct Perona and Zoro on how to sail his ship so they can do it instead. Of course, nothing goes as planned.

Morisuke doesn’t usually make exceptions.
He’s a very straightforward person—he loves being a libero and showing others the beauty of defense, he can barely stand incompetent and impudent people, and he’s perfectly comfortable with his undisturbed, very normal senior year. He lives by his rules and assumptions so as not to make his last year of high school any harder or more complicated than it already is.
Haiba Lev, in his nearly two meters of pure stupidity, might just be the biggest exception Morisuke’s ever had to make.
