My absolute favorite turned human fic. The yearning is so visceral, and Crowley's confession (both the rehearsed and botched version) is so... it's just so beautiful and human and messy and absolutely perfect. Unbelievable how good this fic is.

Oh my goodness. I just adore how gradually Spock comes to respect McCoy, and how ridiculous he is once he enters the yearning stage. "On Vulcan, blue eyes are usually a sign of blindness or disease." Oof. Buddy.
