Halfway across the world, Colt Gentry Seavers calls his twin brother to tell him he was coming home.
At the Compound, Tony Stark is put on (unnecessary) probation and now has a very familiar, very brooding shadow on his heels.
And in the middle of it all, Peter Parker, is weirdly insistent on being on the field trip to UC Berkeley, and also weirdly against Grace being a student chaperone for it. Whatever that meant.

Summary
It takes Ryland Grace three days to figure out he’s in a different reality but in his defense, it was a school weekend and summer break was on the way.
Here's a few things that clues him in:
One, the weirdest thing that Ryland notices when he wakes up is that he smells like sugar cookies. He doesn't even know how to bake.
Two, the second weirdest thing is that when he orders take out, his DoorDasher leans in really close to his face and sniffs him. Which, okay, so he forgot to shower last night, is it such a crime? Sue him, whatever.
The last and final thing that broke the straw on the camel's back was the man who stops him outside of Grover Cleveland Middle School while he's fumbling with his bike lock and sweating over rewriting the answer key for his practice exams, to ask if he could hit up that "Sweet Omega Ass," which- what the fudge? Who do you think you are, and what even is an Omega?

Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
