“Thought you said I was gross?” Kai’s voice comes out muffled because he’s speaking into Yeonjun’s stomach, still holding him just as tightly. His voice sinks into his skin from their point of contact, caressing Yeonjun’s insides in a way that makes him want to pull back and wrap that feeling up inside him forever.
“You are still,” Yeonjun says, only laughing and trying not to jump when Kai pinches his waist for that. “But you’re still my baby too.”
Kai laughs, the sound going from a muffled huff to clear as a bell as he pulls away, his hands still around Yeonjun’s waist. He’s looking up, all his attention on Yeonjun like he’s trying to see what Yeonjun is thinking.
Or, Yeonjun has struggled with the weight of the expectations of too many people including himself, and Kai is the only solution to it all.
