Jason’s head spins. He should feel elated, relieved. This is what he wanted, wasn’t it? Proof that maybe, just maybe, Tim feels the same way. But standing there, listening to Tim baring his soul to someone else, it feels like he’s intruding. Like he’s stepped into a space he has no right to occupy.
And yet, there’s something else – something deeper that he can’t ignore. A warmth spreads through his chest, fierce and overwhelming, even as his mind screams at him to step back, to leave before he’s caught.
Because now he knows.
The only thing left is to convince Tim he feels the same way.
