He feels dizzy, eyes blinking open a few times to adjust to the dim lighting. He shifts his legs to sit up and he hears the jingle of a chain and then feels the weight of metal wrapped around his ankle. His breath catches in his throat and his heart pounds. His chest sends a spike of panic through his body when he yanks his leg and the chain holds firm.
He looks around the room for the first time, really looks and tears well quickly to pour down his cheeks. The room was practically bare furniture wise but every wall was filled, floor to ceiling, with pictures of him.
Everywhere. Every picture is of him, pictures with other people, cropped so only he is visible.
He feels sick.
