Summary
It has been 50 years since the Deitians, a group of intergalactic eugenic conquesters, had landed on the Earth with the goal of destroying all sentient life. No group or person alive could stop their destruction. All except the Technimals: a group of cybernetically modified humans with hearts and souls of gold, chosen by the Earth itself. Their crusade has created a stalemate against the Deitians, and a relative form of peace has been made.
Sunny Suzuki, a boy who is loathed by his hometown and all who live in it, has taken up arms to find any meaning he can in his short life. But an old friend returns to his life, and she's not the kind of person who takes "no" for an answer.
