Buck turned his attention back to Eddie, who looked too fascinated by his food to meet his eye.
“Well, some day, I hope. Obviously it wouldn’t be for a long time,” He cringed in on himself, “But as soon as I fix the roof and get the locks changed I’m sure I could get out of your hair.”
Eddie finally met his eyes, frowning, “Buck, you’re not sleeping on a mattress on the floor of some empty meth lab when you have a perfectly comfortable place to sleep here.”
