Because why is Lando standing on the side of Oscar’s (their) bed, staring at him? His fangs have dropped, pressing into his bottom lip. His pupils are dilated, covering his entire eye, swallowing the pretty green-blue that is usually there.
He’s gripping his own forearms tightly. He looks like he’s holding himself back. Of course, Oscar realizes this all a second too late because his first reaction is jumping about ten feet out of his own skin.
