Pangi swallowed thickly, his mask covering the slight quiver of his frown. His voice broke when he spoke.
"I'm no hero."

Aimsey had one hand outstretched towards her, palm up. The one eye visible behind their mask held such fondness, and Ros suddenly felt a little dizzy.

"Hi!" Ros set her glass down on the table, turning to face them.
"I was just wondering..." Aimsey tilted their head a little, glancing around the room, before their eyes found Ros' again. They always did. "...Can I have this dance?"
