In the kitchen of the Wheeler household, Nancy Wheeler sat alone, a glass of wine in her hand. Though the nineteen-year-old couldn’t drink legally, when did the law ever stop her? Plus, it was far too stressful of a time to not be drinking.
Vecna was trying to destroy the world, El was being hunted by the government, and her boyfriend (whom she was having more and more troubles with) was living in her basement.
Her and Jonathan were…Complicated. It’s not like she didn’t love him, quite the opposite actually. She really did, but he had been distant ever since he moved to Lenora.
Nancy can’t say that it was all his fault though. She hadn’t been reaching out much either, and everyone knew Jonathan didn’t start a conversation.
They were doing fine.
