En 1734 Farinelli visita por primera vez Londres contratado por la compañía operística de Händel.
Por entonces, Händel estaba inmerso de lleno en su particular guerra contra el compositor Porpora por los teatros y óperas londinenses. La sociedad londinense quedó pronto dividida en los bandos de los dos compositores.
Farinelli era por entonces el cantante de Händel y Porpora contaba con la inestimable presencia de Senesino, quien abandonó la compañía operística de Händel para unirse a Porpora, quien a su vez fuera en su día el compositor y director de la ópera en la que debutó Farinelli en Bolonia.
Se huele el drama. -

Ocho días después del nacimiento tenía lugar la Lustratio, ceremonia en la que el hijo/hija era oficialmente presentado a los familiares otorgándole un nombre. A partir de ese momento, el hijo/hija pasaba a formar definitvamente parte del núcleo familiar y de la gens (tribu). Era este también el momento en el que el niño o la niña quedaba bajo la protección de los Lars Familiaris.

The air felt denser inside the cabin and the usual hum of the machinery seemed to fall away. Hux sounded out of breath when he answered “Yes.”Kylo Ren has become the Supreme Leader of the First Order but has no ambition to put the title to any use. He waits, for violence, resolution and maybe death. Hux accepts the role of advisor in hopes that he can scheme his way into ruling the whole thing by whispering in the ear of the highly unstable and dangerous new leader.
Ren refuses to take part in an official enthronement ceremony, but Hux felt he has prepared for it all his life. Will they be able to stop the First Order from collapsing on itself while their command is nothing but manipulation, power play, and an intimacy neither of them bargained for?
