   Summary

   When Tifa first met Aerith after an AVALANCHE mission gone horribly wrong, she thought she was just a kind stranger. Months later, their lives become inseparably connected as they unite on a quest to defeat Sephiroth, shut down Shinra, and even save the Planet. During their journey, they become intertwined in other ways, until Tifa can't imagine life without Aerith. Then, in a cruel twist of fate, Aerith is killed and Tifa has to finish the journey without her.

   Now the dust is settling after Sephiroth's defeat, and Tifa's life is in tatters. She's lost her friends, her home, and her ability to be at peace. And while it is true that she made new friends in her travels, she still aches. There is a gaping hole in Tifa's life where Aerith used to be, and now that she's gone, Tifa is lost. Grief-stricken and numb, she recruits Cloud and the rest of her friends to help her find a way to bring Aerith back. But she quickly learns the price for such an thing is steep. How much is she willing to pay to see her love again?
