Summary
His outstretched glove hangs there, frozen, as the noise of the arena mutates into a ringing buzz. Then he’s moving, pushed away by Marlow, and then Boston’s goalie. There’s a flurry of movement, a trainer with a towel, more blood dripping onto the ice, and he just. Stands there. Staring.
Ilya is helped off the ice. Shane doesn’t even tap his stick.
Remember when Sidney Crosby caught a puck with his jaw? That doesn't happen to Shane. That happens to Ilya.

Summary
Shane was diagnosed with autism after doing an evaluation for the Montreal Metros. It was a shock at first but it quickly explained so much of his life. And while he's not ashamed of it, he doesn't want to tell the team, or anyone really. He doesn't want them to think he's weak or needs special treatment. The fewer people that know, the better.
So why does he suddenly want to tell Rozanov? And what will he say when he can't hide it anymore?
Or: Shane has a melt down after a press conference and of course Ilya is there is help him though it.

Summary
Shane doesn’t say he’s overwhelmed.
He never does.
He shows up instead—later than planned, jaw tight, movements clipped like every second is being audited. His bag lands by the door with more force than necessary. He stands there for a moment too long, as if waiting for instructions he hasn’t been given.
Ilya clocks it immediately.
“Hey,” he says gently, already closing the distance. “Come here.”
Shane shakes his head once, sharp. “Just—give me a minute.”
Ilya gives him thirty seconds.
Then he takes Shane’s wrist—not tight, not demanding—and guides him further into the apartment. “Shoes off,” he says, voice calm, certain. “Jacket too.”or
Ilya takes care of an overwhelmed and overstimulated Shane by letting him float away into subspace for a bit.

Summary
“You are sick,” Ilya said slowly, enunciating every word. He sprayed another stream of water into his mouth, and Shane couldn’t help but stare at the way his throat moved. He felt hypnotized, trapped in Ilya’s stare, and the other man put the bottle down. “Have you scene before, Shane Hollander?”
Shane’s expression crumpled before he could wrestle it back under control. He cleared his throat, his stomach cramping uncomfortably. “Have I what? Have--scened with someone? What do you mean?”
“You are sub,” Ilya spoke with the water bottle waving, his voice casual. He ignored Shane’s defensive posture, gesturing to the trash can. “Sub get sick when not scene. When no Dom to scene with,” Ilya trailed off, looking Shane up and down, lingering on his collarless throat before continuing. “Is…unhealthy.”
In a world where subs, Doms, and Switches are biologically determined, subs are not accepted within a Dom-oriented sport like hockey.
Sub Shane Hollander keeps his designation hidden, but when confronted with Dom Ilya Rozanov, he can't fight his designation for long.
